Talking AI at board level with the World Bank Group team
Maciej Rutkowski and Kris Kowalski met the World Bank Group team to discuss where the biggest lever for AI sits in companies. It is not the technology but the board: when AI stays with IT, the company gets a safe tool, and when the board asks about value, the business changes. We also discussed why buying licences is not yet adoption, and why good adoption ends with people building their own agents and automations within rules set by IT.
ELTI European Leaders Programme: it is not the model, it is how you use it
At the invitation of Bielik and PFR, Kris Kowalski led part of an AI workshop at the ELTI European Leaders Programme, hosted by BGK for national development banks from over a dozen European countries. Using two cases, in Microsoft 365 Copilot and on an open-weight model, he showed that the result depends on how the model is used.
